Brendam Docks is one of the busiest and most exciting places on the Island of Sodor!

You’ll find Brendam Docks on the southeast coast of Sodor, next to the seaside town of Brendam.
It connects land and sea transport — and it’s the first stop for cargo, big and small!

Brendam first appeared in The Railway Series and quickly became a fan favourite in the Thomas & Friends TV show.
Its tall cranes and rows of trucks make it the perfect spot for teamwork, surprises, and (sometimes!) a bit of diesel mischief.

Cranky the Crane’s First Day
When Cranky arrived at Brendam Docks, he was tall and proud. But he wasn’t very friendly to the engines. He thought they were slow and noisy. One day, a big storm hit, and Cranky needed help. The engines came to the rescue, and Cranky learned that teamwork is important.
Moral: Being kind and working together makes everything better!
Percy and the Monster of Brendam
Percy heard a spooky sound at the docks and thought a sea monster was coming! He was very scared. But it turned out to be a pile of pipes rolling around. Everyone had a good laugh, and Percy felt braver.

Salty’s Sea Shanty Surprise
Salty, the dockside diesel, loved singing sea shanties while he worked. One day, he lost his voice and couldn’t sing. The docks felt quiet and dull. The engines realised how much they enjoyed Salty’s songs and helped him get his voice back.
