Here’s everything you need to know — from bookings and cancellations to accessibility, siblings, and snack time.


What age groups is Tiny Track & Play suitable for ?

Our sessions are recommended for children from 18 months
We’ve welcomed a lovely variety of ages so far — from confident toddlers to curious school-age train fans.


How long is each session ?

Each general session lasts 1 hour with special sessions lasting longer.
We ease gently into play at the start, and wind things down with a friendly toot toot to let little ones know when time’s nearly up.


Where do you run sessions?

We currently operate across Essex, including Brentwood, Chelmsford, Wickford, and more.

Do I need to book in advance ?

Yes, please!
All sessions must be booked in advance via our website — this helps us keep numbers safe, the atmosphere calm, and the experience fun for everyone.


Can siblings comes along ?

Absolutely!

Baby in arms are free of charge.

Other siblings are welcome too, but will need their own paid ticket to take part.


Do you charge for additional adults ?

Each booking includes entry for up to two adults free of charge per family. If you wish to bring more than two adults, we do require an additional adult ticket to be purchased.

This helps us manage numbers in the hall, keep the environment comfortable for everyone, and ensure there’s plenty of space for the children to play.


Is the playgroup suitable for children with additional needs?

Yes — we aim to be as inclusive as possible and have SEN sessions available to book.
If your child has specific needs, please let us know ahead of time so we can support you appropriately.


What if I need to cancel my booking ?

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a refund (minus Stripe’s fee).
After that, bookings are non-refundable unless there’s an emergency.

Are you insured ?

Yes! We have full public liability insurance and are DBS checked.
Documents are available on request.


Do parents/carers need to stay ?

Yes — grown-ups must stay during the session and are responsible for supervising their children.


Is there snacks and drinks available ?

Yes!

Our sessions include a small tuck shop with snacks, drinks and books to purchase.

You’re also welcome to bring your own snacks — just avoid messy items and be mindful of allergies if sharing the space.

Additionally we do not sell hot drinks for safety reasons but we do allow them into our sessions providing they have a suitable lid to contain the contents.


Can I take photos ?

Of course!

You’re welcome to take photos of your own child — just please avoid including others unless you have their permission.


Will you be taking photos ?

Yes — we take a few photos for our social media and website.

Don’t worry:

We never share close-ups of children’s faces and always blur out faces if they can be seen on any images we use.


Do you provide party packages ?

Yes, we provide party packages where we bring even more fun for your little one. Head over to our party page to find out more


Are the toys cleaned regularly ?

Yes — all trains, carriages and other toys are cleaned daily on session days. Track sets are deep cleaned monthly.

If you spot something that needs attention during a session, let us know straight away.


Is the venue wheelchair accessible ?

Most of our venues are wheelchair accessible.

If you or your child have any access needs, please get in touch before your visit and we’ll do our best to help.
